Custom Excel spreadsheets, built for the way you actually work

Stop fighting a workbook that was never designed for your business. Tell us what you need to track, decide or report, and our team builds a clean, reliable Excel file you can use straight away.

The problem with the spreadsheet you have today

Most business spreadsheets grow by accident. A tab is added here, a formula is copied there, and a year later nobody is quite sure which number is correct. The file becomes slow, fragile, and impossible to hand over to someone else.

Typical symptoms we see: duplicated data entry, broken references after a row is inserted, totals that silently exclude new lines, no separation between raw data and reporting, and manual copy-paste every month just to produce the same summary.

What we can build in Excel

We design the workbook structure first — inputs, calculations, outputs — then build it with formulas, named ranges, data validation, conditional formatting and pivot logic that stay readable. Common requests include:

  • Budget and cost-tracking workbooks with monthly and annual views
  • Cash-flow and profitability models with scenario inputs
  • Quoting, pricing and margin calculators for sales teams
  • Inventory, stock and order-tracking sheets
  • Client, lead or project trackers with status and follow-up views
  • Timesheets, planning and capacity sheets
  • Reporting workbooks that turn raw exports into a clean summary

How the process works

You start for free: describe your project in our guided assistant, which asks the questions we would ask in a first call — what you track, where the data comes from, who uses the file, and what decisions it should support. You get a written project brief at the end.

From there, a Sheet Partners specialist builds the workbook, tests it with your real structure, and sends it back for review. Revisions are part of the service: you tell us what to adjust and we update the file until it fits your workflow. Every deliverable is built and checked by a person — nothing is auto-generated and dumped on you.

What helps us build faster

You do not need anything prepared to start, but the project moves faster when you can share the following:

  • A sample export or an anonymised copy of your current file
  • The columns or figures you need to see at the end
  • How often the file is updated, and by whom
  • Any format constraint (a specific Excel version, shared drive, or print layout)

Limits and when a custom quote makes sense

We build spreadsheets — not enterprise software. Very large datasets, live connections to third-party systems, or requirements that depend on a specific platform's API may not be feasible inside a workbook, and we will tell you when that is the case rather than deliver something fragile.

Projects with unusual scope or a strict deadline can be quoted separately. If your need is closer to reporting or automation, see our spreadsheet dashboards and spreadsheet automation pages, or check the subscription details.
